Meraki Hammocks, LLC serves the overlanding community by handcrafting hammocks based on client specifications.
Clients will provide information about their vehicle (e.g., make/model), and specify the color of fabric and stitching for their hammock(s).
Meraki Hammocks are individually handcrafted in Lorena, Texas.
The most popular Meraki Hammocks are for solo adventurers. These hammocks are "gathered end" style hammocks. That means that the fabric is gathered at each end using a carabiner, cordage, or webbing.
Tandem hammocks are exclusive to the Gen 6 4-door Bronco. These hammocks are "bridge style" hammocks that hang side-by-side. At the end of each hammock is a channel for the webbed tension strap. Tandem hammocks can be used in pairs, or by removing one hammock, can be turned into a solo hammock.
The mounting brackets are designed to accept a carabiner, cordage, and webbing to accommodate the clients preferred method of hanging their hammock.
Hammocks
The Gen 6 Bronco 2-door solo hammock kit includes one hammock, one bracket (patent pending), one carabiner, one 10" dog bone, one eye-bolt, and hardware. This hammock is well suited for users up to 6'0" in height. The maximum weight limit is 300 lbs. The cost for this hammock kit is $200.00, plus shipping.
(Note: An eye-bolt will be used for the rear attachment point. The hammock will be attached using a 10" dog bone.)
The Gen 6 Bronco 4-door solo hammock includes one hammock, two brackets (patent pending), hardware. This hammock is well suited for users up to 6'3" in height. The maximum weight limit is 300 lbs. The cost for this hammock kit is $250.00, plus shipping.
(Note: The rear mounting bracket for this hammock will use two nut inserts that are located on the top side of the b-pillar in the rear cargo area. Clients will need to confirm that their Bronco has two nut inserts on the top side of the b-pillar for this hammock.)

Installation of our hammocks will not require any drilling. You will need a small flathead screwdriver and a 13mm socket wrench to install the brackets. Inquiries and Answers
I: How do I order a hammock?
A: Email hang@merakihammocks.com. Are you looking for a solo hammock, or a tandem hammock? Let us know if you have a 2-door Bronco, 4-door Bronco, or Braptor, and the model year. You will need to specify the color of fabric and thread that should be used for your hammock. We will need your preferred shipping address and method of payment. We prefer Zelle, however, we also accept PayPal and Venmo.
I: How do I pay for my hammock?
A: Upon receipt of your initial email, we will reply with payment details for Zelle, PayPal, or Venmo. We will give you the total price, which will include the cost of shipping. Upon receipt of your payment, we will order the fabric.
I: When should I expect to receive my hammock?
A: The wait time is generally three weeks. If there is a delay in obtaining materials, we will provide you with an update. If you are leaving for a trip and need us to prioritize your order, please communicate your need to us in your initial email.
I: Does the hammock work with the roof on?
A: Yes. The front and rear attachment points do not interfere with the roof (hardtop or softtop) inside the Gen 6 Bronco (2-door and 4-door), or Braptor.
I: Can I install the attachment brackets myself?
A: Yes. The attachment brackets were designed for clients to install in minutes. (Slow is Fast.)
I: Can I use my own hammock to hang inside of my Bronco?
A: The fabric used and the dimensions of retail hammocks are not suited to hang inside the Gen 6 Bronco (2-door and 4-door), or Braptor.
I: I have a hammock. Can I purchase the brackets and use my current hammock?
A: The brackets (patent pending) are only available as part of a Meraki Hammock kit.
I: Can I set up the Meraki Hammock outside of the Bronco?
A: Yes. You can use the Meraki Hammock while hiking, camping, or just hang'n around. If you do not have tree saver straps, we can provide two straps for an additional cost.
I: Is the Meraki Hammock suited for hiking, biking, etc.?
A: Our hammocks weigh less than 300 grams, which make them ideal for pursuits in which weight is a factor.
